How We Review

Every app covered on tvdulo.com is installed and tested on real phones before its download information is published. This page explains the method so readers can judge any review on this site.

Our Method

The reviewer installs the app from its package file, exactly as a reader would, and works through the same checks in the same order for every version: clean install and first launch, browsing and search behaviour, playback of available trailers, permissions and data practices, and everyday stability over several sessions.

File facts such as version, size, and Android requirement are taken from the package and the app information, and they are rechecked whenever a new version replaces the old one. Nothing is listed from a press release alone.

What Every Review Checks

Clean install and first launch; browsing, search, and favorites behaviour; trailer playback quality and stability; permissions requested and how they compare with what the app does; performance, battery, and storage behaviour on mid range and older phones; and what changed since the previous version.

Reviews are written from hands on testing on this page's test phones. Scores and findings are not supplied by developers, and a listing is updated or corrected whenever testing shows the published information is wrong.
